This wonderful, Staffordshire Enamels box is a red and white striped, domed tent, with a metal finial and a pole, with a flying pennant. On the side are "PUNCH & JUDY" signs and two scenes. The front scene has the Baby with Punch and Judy fighting. The back scene has Punch, the string of sausages prop, and some of the minor characters : the Constable, Toby the Dog and the Crocodile. It has a diameter of 1.3" with a height of 3.1" to the top of the pole. "Staffordshire Enamels - Made in England" with a big "S" in the center and "Hand Painted" with the artist's initials are on the bottom. PLEASE NOTE : There are some blue paint marks on the top.
