This wonderful vintage Staffordshire Enamels box, based on the book "The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady" has a large bird perched on a flower stalk. It looks like the fluffy balls from dandelions. Inside is "September blows soft, - Till the fruits in the loft." It has a diameter of 1.7" with a height of 1.2". On the green base is : "Inspired by the charming best selling book 'The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady' in association with Rowena Stott and her copyright holders Webb & Bower Ltd.
