TWO PIECE HEART SHAPED BOX

ROYAL WEDDING 1981

This is a two piece, heart shaped bone china box created to commemorate the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer.  On top is the heraldic badge of the Prince of Wales, white feathers emerging from a gold coronet, and a ribbon banner with "ICH DIEN" (I serve).  "C" and "D", in red, are on each side, and a gold stripe is on the edge.  A band with "H.R.H. PRINCE CHARLES WEDDING TO LADY DIANA SPENCER. JULY 29th 1981." is on the side.
