This wonderful, Limoges box is a rust and beige, shoe stand, with two, woven metal, display racks, decorated with 22KT gold, belt buckles and chains. A man's belt is in front. An "X" with laurel is the clasp, and a chain, with a shoe horn and a brush, is painted inside. Also inside is a pair of 1.3" by .6" high, tan, removable, porcelain, men's shoes. The box is 1.5" by 2.6" with a height of 1.3". "Peint Main - Limoges France" with the artist's initial is on the bottom of the shoe box and each of the shoes.
