This lovely, Limoges box is a purse, with a movable, metal handle, painted in the elaborate Sevres style, with pink and purple roses, pink ribbon swags, black laurel, and royal blue and 22KT gold stripes, in front. The sides have gold leaf stems, and the back has borders of pink ribbon swags, black laurel, and gold and blue stripes. A bar is the clasp, and gold leaf stems are painted inside. It is 1.25" by 1.75" with a height of 1.3". "Limoges France - Peint Main" with the artist's initials is on the bottom.
