This rare, Parry-Vieille, Limoges box is Beatrix Potter's main character, from the "Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck", wearing a pink cape, with magenta trim and stitching, yellow boots and a blue bonnet, with burgundy trim, holding a burgundy purse, with a 22KT gold chain handle. Grass, stones and a three dimensional, brown, picket fence are on the base. A flower is the clasp, and removable, porcelain, $1 gold coins are inside. It has a diameter of 1.8" with a height of 2.8".
