This wonderful, limited edition, Limoges box is a tote bag with two metal handles, featuring famed Moulin Rouge dancer, Jane Avril, in a full red skirt and black boots doing the can-can. This recreation of a Toulouse-Lautrec poster for the "Jardin de Paris", a French nightclub, is elegantly sprinkled with 22KT gold. The sides are black, and the back has beige and ivory colored, diagonal stripes. A double loop is the clasp, and a removable pair of black porcelain shoes, with gold buckles, is inside. It is 1.4" by 1.8" with a height of 3.1" to the top of the handles. Inside is: "Limoges Collectors Society - Peint Main - Limoges France - No 191/750."
