This lovely, Marquise de Pompadour, Limoges box is a brown and beige, 'wicker' basket, with a porcelain handle, filled with ripe, red, stemmed cherries and leaves. Two cherries, on a stem, is the clasp, and a stem with two cherries is also painted inside. It has a diameter of 1.8" with a height of 2.1" to the top of the handle.
