This lovely, Eximious, Limoges box is a very colorful, hot air balloon, with a brown 'wicker' gondola, white sand bags and one passenger, dressed in blue. The balloon has vertical, red, white, and blue stripes, horizontal, green bands, multi-colored circles, and 22KT gold pin stripes, separating the colors. An "X" with laurel is the clasp, and a sand bag is painted inside. The box has a diameter of 1.4"" with a height of 2.7". On the bottom is: "Peint Main - Eximious" with the artist's initials, and "Limoges France" stamped in green.
