This lovely, Limoges box is an Asian lantern with a blue top, edged with 'feathered' 22KT gold and a gold centerpiece. Borders of red, edged in gold, with vines of pink and bluee flowersare on the bottom. 'Screened openings' are on each side, and two gold tassels are in front. A scrolled butterfly is the clasp, and a green leaf stem is inside. It is 1.6" square with a height of 2.4". "Peint Man - Limoges France" with the artist's initials, and "Limoges France" also stamped in green are on the bottom.
