This lovely Limoges box is an Asian elephant, with its' trunk up, wearing ceremonial Indian garb. The raspberry blanket is trimmed and detailed with 22KT gold. Jungle foliage is painted on the base. An elephant is the clasp, and shrubs are painted inside. It is 1.9" by 2.4" with a height of 2.3". On the bottom is: "Limoges France - Peint Main" with the artist's initials.
