This wonderful, Limoges box features a white dog, with black ears and collar, listening to an antique gramophone or phonograph, with a brown 'wooden' stand and 22KT gold horn. The 'marble' base has a banner with "HIS MASTERS VOICE" in raised letters. "His Master's Voice" is a famous trademark, featuring a dog, named Nipper, listening to a gramophone. It originated from a Francis Barraud painting, and was later adopted by RCA Victor. The clasp is a French horn, and a musical note is painted inside. The box is 1.3" by 2" with a height of 2".
