This wonderful, vintage, Rochard, Limoges box is a suitcase or attache case/briefcase, with four metal feet, a movable metal handle, and 22KT gold corners. On one side is a scene of the White House, with the south side portico balcony and the U. S. flag flying. An eagle holding a colonial flag, against a platinum background, is on the other side. The clasp is a pair of bars, and painted inside are a fountain pen, a calculator and papers or documents. It is 1.3" (1.6" with the feet) by 2.2" with a depth of .5". "Hand Painted - Rochard - Peint Main - Limoges France" with the artist's initials is on the bottom.
