This spectacular, retired, Parry-Vieille, Limoges box is an elaborate wedding cake, a French pastry masterpiece, known as croquembouche ("crunch in the mouth"). It is a cone shaped, tower of cream puffs, with pastry cream filling, held together with caramel syrup. This one has dots of white icing and a bride and groom on top. The blue platter has scalloped, 22KT gold edges. A pair of entwined hearts is the clasp, and two, gold wedding rings are painted inside The box has a diameter of 1.8" with a height of 2.5".
