This wonderful, Parry-Vieille, snowman box is a set of two nesting pieces: a box and a figure. The smiling snowman has a bowler hat, a red and yellow scarf, and blue mittens. Painted on the box are two children, a kitten, a bird, and a decorated tree with presents. Snow flocking is in back. The clasp is a teddy bear, and a rocking horse is painted inside. Also inside is a removable, .75" diameter by 1.6" high snow woman, wearing a cloche hat, decorated with holly, and a red and white scarf, and stamped "Limoges France - PV - Marque Deposee" in back. The box has a diameter of 1.2" with a height of 2.4". On the bottom is: "Limoges France - PV - Marque Deposee - Rehausse Main."
