This large, vintage, Le Tallec, horizontal egg is in the "Treille Muscate" (grape arbor) pattern, with vines of 22KT gold grapes looping with garlands of blue flowers, on the top and the side. On top, in the center, is a cluster of blue flowers, and a gold pin stripe is on the bottom edge. A flower is the clasp, and blue flowers are painted inside, on both the top and the bottom. It is 1.8" by 2.9" with a height of 1.8". On the bottom is: "Dessine et peint entierement a la main par Le Tallec a Paris France - L RR T / ?." The date code "RR" was used in both 1962 and 1987, but I would guess it was made in 1962, since it has the old spackle type filler.
