This lovely, Carenton, Limoges box is a hotel, breakfast tray. with two woven metal handles, a white, scalloped edge 'cloth' and "Hotel de Paris" in black script, in front. On the tray are a painted croissant, and cheese and a knife, on a cutting board, and two, white cups and saucers, with 22KT gold rims; his "Lui" has coffee residue in it, and hers "Elle" has a teabag. A ribbon bow is the clasp, and a cup of a steaming, hot beverage is painted inside. The tray is 1.7" by 3" across the handles with a height of 1.1". "Peint Main - Limoges France" with the artist's initial is on the bottom. It comes with the Carenton box.
