This lovely, limited edition, Dubarry, Limoges box is a LARGE, Prince's Trust mask, designed by performer, Bette Midler, with a tropical beach scene, of a palm tree, a big orange sun, birds and "aloha to you" with a signature by "Bette Midler" in gold. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. "Bette Midler" is also written underneath. The Prince's Trust is a charity started by then Prince Charles (now called the King's Trust), in 1976, to help disadvantaged young people turn their lives around. One of the fundraisers involved hundreds of artists and celebrities, painting masks, which were turned into Limoges boxes by Dubarry. A circle is the clasp, and information about the Prince's Trust masks is inside. The mask is 2.2" by 3.2" with a height of 1.6". "Dubarry - Peint Main - Limited Edition no 318", "Limoges France" stamped in green, and "The Prince's Trust" logo are on the bottom.
