This wonderful, Halcyon Days Enamels box, issued in 1996 for the Bicentennial, commemorates the creation of the first U. S. flag. On top is a two story, brick house, with the flag flying, flanked by trees. On the inside top is: "Betsy Ross House - Philadelphia, Pa. - BIRTHPLACE OF OLD GLORY" and "Here, in 1776, Betsy Ross was commissioned to make the First American Flag." "1776 1976" is on the bottom. The box has a diameter of 1.6" with a height of .9". "Designed by Halcyon Days Enamels - Made in England" with "Bilston and Battersea Enamels" in the center and "M I Aion Philadelphia" are on the red base.
