This wonderful Halcyon Days enamel box has elegantly attired ladies and gentlemen on a grassy field in the Royal Enclosure, near the rails at Ascot, a race course for thoroughbred horse racing. In the background are people and the grandstand. Horses racing border the side. Inside is "The Royal Enclosure at Ascot Races in Edwardian Times." The reign of Edward VII was from 1901 to 1910. It is 1.3" by 1.8" with a height of .9". On the base is : "Halcyon Days Enamels - England - Bilston & Battersea Enamels Revival." It comes with the presentation case.
