This incredibly detailed Halcyon Days enamel box is a tribute to Las Vegas, the gambling mecca of the world. The top has "WELCOME TO Fabulous LAS VEGAS NEVADA" which is the sign that greets tourists coming from the airport. Below it are images of three of the famous glitzy casino neon signs. The Mexican rider on the yellow horse is from the old Hacienda Hotel, which was on the south side of the Strip, isolated from the other hotels, and surrounded by vacant land. That side has been completely developed, and the Mandalay Bay Hotel is now on that site. In the middle is "PALMS" with their sign. Although it isn't located on the Strip, the hotel is trendy because of the basketball connections of the former owners, the Maloof brothers. The marquee of the now defunct "STARDUST" hotel is on the right. Beneath is a roulette wheel, a pair of dice, and stacks of $100 chips. A white zigzag with green dots and the four card suits decorates the side. Inside is "LAS VEGAS", a pair of dice, and "Luck be a Lady Tonight!" which was one of Frank Sinatra's signature songs, and a reminder of the days when the Rat Pack performed in the intimate showrooms of the city. The box has a diameter of 1.4" with a height of .75". On the bottom is : "Halcyon Days Enamels - England." It comes with the presentation case, information pamphlet, and cardboard sleeve.
