This rare, Halcyon Days Enamels box, first in the series, features a carriage with two ladies, pulled by two, white horses. The carriage, the wheels, the horses' harnesses and their heads are decorated with pink roses. Vines of roses border the scene, and adorn the side. The inside top has "Pasadena Tournament of Roses" and on the inside bottom is "Carriage circa 1890." The first Tournament of Roses parade was in 1890. The box is 1.4" by 1.9" by .9" high. "Halcyon Days Enamels - Made in Bilston England", "OFFICIAL LICENSEE PASADENA TOURNAMENT OF ROSES" AND "1ST IN AN ANNUAL SERIES" are on the bottom.
