This adorable, Halcyon Days Enamels box has a scene of a blackboard, with "Talk to the animals" written on it, and assorted, whimsical animals - some of them reading, on top. There is a turtle, an octopus, a lion, a bison, an alligator, a snake, a monkey, a dog and a bear. More animals, including a tiger, a hippopotamus, a zebra and a rhinoceros, are around the side. Both the top and the side have paw print borders. A tiger and a cheetah with "... imagine talking to a tiger - chatting to a cheetah - what a neat achievement it would be ..." and "Words and Music by Leslie Bricusse first performed 1967" are on the inside top. A drawing of a pushmi-pullyu is on the bottom. The box has a diameter of 1.6" with a height of 1.1". "Halcyon Days Enamels - England - Bilston & Battersea Enamels Revival" is on the bottom.
