This wonderful, Halcyon Days, enamel box has panels of street vendors and their wares from 18th century London, with rope borders and rose accents. On top is a lady with a basket of flowers and a dog, with "Sweet Lavender!" written on the bottom edge. Six panels, going clockwise, feature a lady with a milk jug, a lady with a basket of cherries, on her head, a man selling toys, a lady with a basket of eggs, a man with gingerbread, and a lady selling oysters. Inside is a town crier, with a lantern, and "Cries of London, after 18-century engravings." The box has a diameter of 1.6" with a height of 1.7". "Halcyon Days Enamels - England - Bilston & Battersea Enamels Revival" with the cries of the sellers is on the bottom.
