This wonderful, Halcyon Days Enamels box has masks, props and characters from the Commedia dell'Arte, an early form of professional theatre which originated in Italy in the 16th century. Masks and props such as a fan and baton (slapstick), bordered with a red ribbon are on top. Costumed characters are on the side. Inside is "Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts celebrates the joy and laughter of the Italian Commedia dell'Arte." It has a diameter of 1.6" with a height of 1.7". "Halcyon Days Enamels - England - Bilston & Battersea Enamels Revival" and " MADE EXCLUSIVELY FOR Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts" are on the bottom.
