This wonderful, limited edition, Halcyon Days Enamels box has three cards painting the Queen of Hearts' white roses red, from Lewis Carroll's children's classic, "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland." Inside is a quote from the book: "The Queen of Hearts wanted to have a red rose tree just in that corner ..." It is 1.3" by 1.75" with a height of .8". "Halcyon Days Enamels - England","eaglecrown", "From The British Library Collection" and "In an edition limited to 250 this is number 55" are on the turquoise base.
