This wonderful, Crummles, limited edition, enamel box, made for Harrods, has "Mr FEZZIWIG'S BALL" from Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol." The scene is from an 1843 illustration by John Leech. Mr. Fezziwig is Scrooge's former employer, and the antithesis of Scrooge. When the Ghost of Christmas Past takes him to revisit his past, he sees Mr. Fezziwig merrily dancing with his workers, at his Christmas party. Inside is a horse drawn wagon with "HARRODS" on it, holly, and "CHRISTMAS 1980." The box has a diameter of 1.6" with a height of 1".
